Successful Revascularization of Severely Calcified SFA in Diabetic Limb

A diabetic patient presented with severe ischemia due to a heavily calcified superficial femoral artery (SFA), threatening limb viability. Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) was performed to treat the calcified lesion.

Procedural Outcomes : Pre-operative images (1-4) demonstrate severe calcification. IVL balloon deployment (images 5-6). Post-procedure images show significant improvement in luminal patency without dissection, flap, or residual stenosis.

Clinical Outcomes: The patient experienced substantial pain relief and improved bleeding post-debridement, indicating enhanced perfusion.
